Never been but it shows up alot that I have been alot ....just out of curiosity I'm gonna have to come check it out though

I have been frequenting this place for years . I love all the bartenders/ servers. The ones who are not so friendly are let go pretty fast. The owner has a good way of feeling people out quickly. There has never been a time where I’ve felt unwelcome. Kim and Nicole are often here and if there’s any issues or they even sense a customer is unhappy they go above and beyond to ensure your visit is great. This place is amazing - not to long ago I had a few to many drinks and left a wallet with cash! I called a few days later and the owner had placed it in a safe spot for me to pick up WITH ALL THE MONEY INSIDE ! This is the place you can safely drink and not be taken advantage of . You can often find the owner in there working her tail off. Some of the most friendly personable staff in town ! The food is great! I always get the daily special when I’m in but the wings are amazing. I recommend this place for wings on a weekly basis. Pricing is reasonable and you meet some of the greatest people here. One of my top 5 favorite places to stop in to have drinks.

We stopped there while on a party bus for a 40th birthday. We had such a blast. Nice patio, all of the “regulars” were actually very friendly and bought drinks for the birthday girl, and the bartender was EXCELLENT. She recommended a house specialty shot- jolly rancher- and it tasted exactly like a grape jolly rancher. She also brought them out with the tray on her head, she was so much fun. They also have vodka slushies that taste like a snow cone.

The food,as always, can't be beat!! I had the super sausage sandwich, and my son had the loose meat sausage sandwich, and they were both big,and perfectly done. The fries were cooked perfectly, and my son appreciated that they offered cottage cheese as a side.

Great bartender and chill vibes. Spicy cheese balls were actually spicy AF (that's a good thing). All good

Great bar food! We had the burgers - and they were huge and fantastic! Pool, golden tee and darts.

We’ve been back multiple times. It has a down home cafe & bar feel. Good service and nice staff. One of a kind!!

Cracking little place this, a real hidden gem in Ankeny. Myself and my fiance stopped in purely by chance to grab some food and a couple of drinks and fell in love with the place. The staff are attentive and really friendly, the food was really good and most importantly the beer was perfect in a frozen glass. Has a real charm to the place that I think alot of bigger drinking establishments lack. As an Englishman, I'm no stranger to the "local pub" and this just has those vibes in spades. Just feels like you should know everyone by name and feels like you should of been drinking here forever. A really charming place that I'll definitely be coming back to when I return to Ankeny.
